When you book a heli ski holiday with us to stay at the Bell 2 Lodge, a night in Vancouver is also included – with a choice of top hotels on offer. The Fairmont Waterfront, in downtown Vancouver is a relaxed luxury hotel on the West Coast. Situated in a central location that’s perfect for exploring this amazing city, it offers many additional amenities, from taking you on guided runs, to visiting their own roof top herb garden. The historic Gastown, a hub of trendy eateries, and Robson Street, with its array of shops, are all within walking distance.
Alternatively, you might like to try the Sheraton, also conveniently located downtown for exploring Vancouver. With magnificent views of the glowing skyline and Pacific Ocean this is a great choice of first night accommodation, and you will easily be tempted to revisit after your heli skiing adventure. Whether you arrive in Vancouver the night before your heli ski itinerary begins, or have decided to make the most of your visit and spend a few days, you’ll find the city has some great sights to offer.
Hotels nearer the airport for ease of transfer include the Fairmont Airport and Westin Airport hotels. The Fairmont is actually located inside the airport, whereas the Westin is only a short, free shuttle ride away.
From Vancouver all you need to do is fly direct to Smithers where we will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your destination. For those not staying in Vancouver, but are spending the night in Smithers, there is a free shuttle to the Hudson Bay Lodge where you will soon settle in.
